Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I thought I would write a quick post about our holiday adventures. We are just finishing up the last day of our week long trip up to see Derek’s parents in Jackson Hole, WY. We were able to spend Christmas up there and enjoy time with the family and catching up with friends. Most of them came for a visit just to see Heidi. We were also able to make it over to Burley, ID to see Derek’s grandparents so Heidi could meet her great grandparents. It was a great visit and even though it was short we were excited to see the family as it has been a couple of years and it was great to see the grandparents in good health. Heidi handled the trip great and really was a great traveler on her first plane ride across the country. We have put new pictures up in the gallery for everyone to enjoy of our Christmas trip. Some of the landscape and artistic shots were done by Matt, Derek’s brother-in-law and he is developing into a really great photographer. Derek, Nichole, and Heidi

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick note to update you on everything.  First, we went to the Doctor on Monday and everything is good. The Doctor met Derek and was able to listen to the heartbeat. He said it was good, right in the middle around 150 bpm. Everyone says I am still pretty little, meaning they can’t even tell I am pregnant, but I am only 14 weeks so I am sure I will be getting bigger soon. We have also added a counter to the blog for everyone to keep track.

We were also able to go up to Jackson with Tim and Amanda Miller to go skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. It was so much fun. The weather was great, with some sun in the morning then some good snow in the afternoon. It was the first time for me and Amanda there and were were able to have alot of fun on the blues, double blues and even some blacks. We ventured up the Gondola, but not on the tram this time. Derek and Tim were up the Tram and in the bowls most of the day. We all came home mostly exhausted  but really glad that we went. It was a great day and fun to spend time with our friends. Hi everyone,We just got back from snowmobiling with Jim and Patty and it was so much fun. We went up to Black Rock which is near Togwotee. That is about 40 min from Jackson so it was not very far. Since It was my first time I went really pretty slow, but fell one time since I forgot to make a turn and landed in some powder. We made it up to the lodge and had lunch and went back home a little longer way so Jim and Derek could play in some powder. After that I was doing fine and I even blazed a little trail when we stopped near a flat part of the trail. There are plenty of shots of the boys and a few of me too, though I don’t know if you can tell since we are all in so much stuff to stay warm. There are some new pictures with us riding and a few of the mountains from when we stopped and from the car ride home. Howdy Everybody-I thought since my internet finally came back up I would make a Christmas post and guess an early New Years one as well. Nichole and I are currently up at my folks house in Jackson enjoying the snow and the skiing. It is currently snowing as I type and the wind is starting to pick up a little bit giving us a good little blizzard. We had a wonderful Christmas getting some gear for our horses and for Summit as well. It has just been an enjoyable time being with the family and relaxing a little bit, plus doing a little work for my dad as well.
